Bianca’s current series “Lost Direction”, is based on the feeling of uncertainty and hopefulness. Inspired by music to set the mood, and photos she takes during long drives, she portrays herself and others as moving vehicles just trying to navigate through a distorted, eerie, yet charming life.

“If you look closely, there are hidden messages throughout these pieces. We move so fast through our day to day life that we sometimes overlook some of the signs that are right in front of us. I try to slow time down and instill that into a painting. I tend to paint over a lot of my own work, but to me that only adds more character and depth to a piece. There are so many layers to us - so many changes we all go through, so many chances to reinvent ourselves, so many opportunities we are given to grow in countless ways. Even if some of us are confused in the direction life is taking us, here we all still moving forward.”
